Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Za’atar blend
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp honey
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium red onion
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk together the Za’atar blend, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, salt, honey and olive oil.
- Peel and cut onion in half and cut each half into ⅛” slices. Add to bowl of other ingredients.
- Chop parsley and add to other ingredients and mix well to coat onions.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let onions absorb the flavor and soften a bit before using.
