Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Za’atar blend
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a bowl whisk together the Za’atar blend, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, salt, honey and olive oil.
  2. Peel and cut onion in half and cut each half into ⅛” slices. Add to bowl of other ingredients.
  3. Chop parsley and add to other ingredients and mix well to coat onions.
  4. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let onions absorb the flavor and soften a bit before using.
