Ingredients
For the pork chop:
- 2 thick cut, boneless pork chops (about ¼ lb each)
- 1 - 1 ½ Tbsp Steakhouse blend
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
For the sauce:
- 2 Tbsp minced shallots
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¾ cup fresh orange juice
- 1 Tbsp honey
- ½ tsp thyme
- 1 Tbsp chicken stock
- salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season each side of the pork chops with the Steakhouse blend. You want a good even layer on each side.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. Add pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side. The internal temperature needs to be 145°F. Remove from the pan and place on a plate and tent with foil.
- Add shallots and garlic to the pan and cook, stirring often for about 2 minutes. Add orange juice, honey, thyme and chicken stock to the pan and bring to a slight boil. Lower heat to a simmer and cook until the sauce is reduced by half, about 3-5 minutes.
- Place pork chops on separate plates and top with sauce. Serve with your favorite vegetables and/or potatoes.
