Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1½ tsp flax seeds or chia seeds (optional)
  • ½ tsp Apple Pie Blend
  • ⅔ cup milk or milk substitute of your choice (i.e. oat milk, almond milk)
  • Optional toppings include sliced banana, raisins, honey, apple sauce, unsalted nuts and sliced apple

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar or air tight container place the oats, seeds if using and Apple Pie Blend.
  2. Seal and give it a good shake to mix everything together and get the spices to cover the oats.
  3. Add the milk to the jar/container, you want to cover the oats by about ¼".
  4. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
  5. Remove from the refrigerator and divide between 2 bowls.
  6. Add the toppings of your choice.

Notes

The overnight oats will stay good in the refrigerator up to 5 days so you can always use this recipe for 1 person over a couple days. You can also make a larger batch and eat it over several days.
