Ingredients
- 1 lb thick cut bacon
- 2 tsp Apple Pie Blend
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°
In a small bowl, mix together the Apple Pie Blend, sugar and cayenne. Set aside.
Line a sheet pan or rimmed cookie sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Place strips of bacon on the wire rack and top with the sugar mix. You want to have a thin layer of the sugar mix evenly over the entire pieces of bacon.
Gently press the sugar mixture onto the bacon.
Place in the oven for about 35-40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
